Work Description

Liftra is a Danish company who designs and manufactures different types of machinery with primary focus on wind turbine sector. Production of our equipment takes mainly place through cooperation with our subcontractors in Tianjin area. Our production in China is focused on manufacturing of heavy steel constructions.

One of our goals at the moment is to extend our project management team and hereby guarantee required production quality and delivery schedules from our subcontractors.

Work description

- As a Project Coordinator you will be given responsibility for one or more projects making sure that the work is done on time, within the budget and in proper quality.

- In order to achieve these goals you will closely cooperate with our internal sales, engineering, purchase and quality personnel along with monitoring progress done by the subcontractors.

- Communication across countries, continents, time zones and organizations will be a part of your daily job and a key to a successful production management of our steel constructions in China.

- As a Project Coordinator in Liftra China you will be placed in our office in TEDA from where you will coordinate your project work with our quality personnel located at the subcontractors.

- Key activities for a Project Coordinator:

a) Collecting required production documentation, like drawings or component specifications.

b) Communicating all production documentation to steel suppliers and our quality personnel.

c) Collecting all critical project documentation from subcontractors.

d) Keeping the project on schedule through cooperation with our quality teams and supplier management.

e) Clarification of any production issues with our sales or engineering departments abroad.

Requirements

- Very good communication skills.

- Fluent in English and Chinese. Verbal and written.

- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Understanding of welding and steel construction standards like ISO 3834 and EN 1090-2.

- Production drawings will be essential for all your work - so you must have full understanding of these.

- Minimum 3 years of work experience as project coordinator or similar position.

- Minimum 3 years of work experience in steel construction industry.

- Experience from previous work in western companies.
