Tax Compliance

1.Monthly/ annual tax declaration and filing, ensure compliance with taxation regulations (e.g. VAT, Stamp duty, quarterly/annual CIT filing etc.)

2.Prepare tax reconciliation report or taxation reports as requested internally by the management or externally by various government authorities

3. Responsible for withholding tax issues related to non-trade payment

4. Responsible for all the tax matters for the entities assigned

5. Responsible for R&D super deduction matters, if needed

6. Responsible for HNTE related matters, if needed

7. Assist the managers in preparing US tax provision calculation

8. Keep effective communication with tax bureau and ensure application/submission is timely and accurate

Tax Advisory/Tax Planning

1. Assist in researching the tax regulations and providing practical tax advices with respect to daily business transactions

2. Assist the managers in the tax advisory/planning projects and the communication with the external tax advisors

3.Participate in the meetings with business BUs to understand the new business models and provide valuable tax advice

Tax Process Improvement/Tax System Rollout

1.Actively participate in the tax technology system rollout including requirements design and communication with internal IT team/external solution providers

2. Leading the internal tax process improvement and actively communicate with the business BUs  

Education/Experience

1. Bachelor with major in Tax or Accounting related preferred

2. At least 2 years or above general tax experience in MNC and/or Big 4

3. Ability to meet deadline for closing and able to work under pressure

4. Highly initiative person to drive effective communication with other Finance functions and also other departments 

5. Good knowledge of PRC tax regulations and practice 

6. Ability to interpret the tax regulations with good sense

7. Creative and logic thoughts highly desired

8. Project experience with HNTE, R&D super deduction, US tax provision (ASC 740) and transfer pricing would be a plus

9. Good oral and written communication skills in English
