Key Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of sourcing strategy for product categories in APAC region
• Reduce overall buying prices
• Identify suppliers (regional and international) and establishing the relationship with them, negotiating terms and conditions and ordering and reordering processes
• Commercial contract negotiations
• Implementation of a sustainable sourcing strategy
• Assist the team in negotiations and contract finalisation
• Follow-up performance of each buyer
• Observation of the activities of competitors; collect data to make up-to-date information available on the activities of competitors
• Analysis of market information; follow new developments and trends in order to be up-to-date on the situation on his / her area's market
• In depth co-operation with his / her peers in the purchasing, corporate departments, admin & finance and countries / regions
• In depth co-operation with the countries also in connection with suppliers, assortment, and supply chain

Key Recruitments:

• Minimum 8 years' experience in sourcing 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills 
• Well organized, self-motivated and details oriented
• Be a good team player and an individual contributor
• Proficient in written and spoken English, Mandarin 
• Willing to travel
