Job Title

Assistant Finance Manager –AR & Retail

Reports to

Finance Manager

General Purpose of the Job 

This position will be fully responsible for great China credit control and AR management on both wholesalers and department stores to minimize bad debts, oversee procedure of offline retail accounting affairs, supervise any AR and offline retail related issues, and propose valuable suggestion to management for process simplification and efficiency.

Main Responsibility Areas 

·         Continuously improvement on AR function process optimization for further efficiency gain;

·         Developing strong relationships with both internal and external customers.  Provide professional advice on customer evaluation, credit control and AR management;

·         Monitor invoice management procedure for finance department and retail stores;

·         Retail operation compliance and improvement: Daily/Monthly Operation and store open/renew/close;

·         Store inventory and sales reconciliation, stock taking arrangement;

·         Ensure timely & accurate recording of capital expenditures and expenses at store level;

·         G2N and Discount management;

·         Regularly review and track overdue customers’ accounts and minimize bad debts;

·         Full responsible for month end & year end closing timely and accuracy (AR and retail );

·         Sales contract and store lease contract review;

·         Annual statutory audit support;

·         Team management including coaching, training, motivation and performance appraisal;

·         Any ad hoc tasks assigned by line manager;

Needed Competencies

·         Strong finance knowledge and be familiar with both PRC and IFRS

·         High integrity, be in initiative, positive working attitude

·         Strong computer skills in MS office (excel, word and power point)

·         Good interpersonal skills in handling both internal and external customers

·         Be able to work under pressure

Education

Bachelor degree or above, major in finance or accounting

Needed Work Experience 

·         At least 5 years related working experience in accounting (retail industry preferred)

·         SAP processing experience is preferred.
