Job Title / Position: Sr. Production Planner

Responsibilities:
Responsible for production planning of cold rolling processing, heat treatment and related final slitting operations
Check customer's technical specifications for production based on designed process or consider production process in other options if necessary
Create combinations for production order according to production specifications and customer specifications
Determine raw material combination for purchasing based on customers' order and forecasts
Arrange production plan for customers' order and ensure production orders on time fulfillment. Balance customers' demand and production capacity in middle and long term periods
Coordinate among related functions for urgent and short-term customers' demand, find possible alternative solutions technically
Monitor demands based on customers' forecasts and orders to control inventory into lowest level, overall control of inventory for raw, semi-finished and finished materials
Excess and obsolete stock rework


Education and Experience:
Education background in metal material science or heat-treatment engineering or related subjects
Professional experience (min. 5 years) with manufacturing, ideally heat-treatment, cold rolling production
Working experience in steel companies / research institutes / etc
Experience of production planning or material planning of heat-treatment or cold rolling or related functions
Experience or knowledge of demand planning and capacity planning in desired steel or aluminium company or material stock and inventory management
Good MS Office skills, especially EXCEL


Language: Good in English (both oral and written)
