About Our Client

Precise Biometrics superior fingerprint algorithms have been integrated into hundreds of millions of mobile phones, tablets and embedded platforms using capacitive fingerprint sensors. A technology change is ongoing and under display sensors becoming the new standard (optical and ultrasound). Precises¡¯ product Precise BioMatch™ Mobile is optimised for under display technologies and deployed in top OEM products.

To speed up product development and capture more of the under display market we seek more people to our software team. The core technology of Precise BioMatch™ is advanced image analysis, algorithm design and machine learning. We seek you who have high ambitions and great experience from image processing, algorithm development and AI/ML. Job Description

The role will cover at least the below. Any additional work tasks and responsibilities will be handled on a case-by-case basis:

• Drive core algorithm research and implementation

• Develop tools to analyse sensor image databases and generate reports

• Develop tools for biometric performance evaluations

• Optimise algorithm for optical and ultrasound fingerprint sensors

• Educate team members and partners in specialist domain

• Manage master thesis students and projects

• Drive customer support activities, either from the office or on-site

• Occasionally take part in pre-sales activities, either from the office or on-si

The Successful Applicant

Education

• Master of Science, Doctor of Philosophy, or equivalent

Experience

• At least five years experiences from image analysis, algorithm development and programming

• Proven Senior C-developer competence

• Proven Senior image analysis competence

• Proven ability to lead and manage university cooperation

Personality

• Customer focused and committed

• Action oriented

• Self-going/independent

• Seniority/representative

• Social competence/networking

• Willing to travel (in Asia and occasionally Europe)

• Corporate language is US English
