Job Scope and Main Activities

??Establishes short term operational decisions typically within a one-year time frame.

?Takes a business approach to planning, coordinating, scheduling and managing resources, considering the future needs of the business, as well as functional and organizational polices and precedents.

?Continually improves work procedures and processes for unit managed.

?Focuses on managerial concerns of the area such as cost, completion date, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

?Prepare a comprehensive commodity plan for the unit and manage operation schedules.

?Assist in the implementation and maintenance of commodity purchasing systems.

?Monitor the maintenance of commodity at minimum acceptable levels.

?Provide commodity spend analyses.

?Implement local requirements into the commodity strategy.

?Perform vendor related activities i.e. ranking, rating, relationship management.

?Establish cost baseline and target prices.

?Maximize hands free processing for the commodity by making available all related documentation i.e. sourcing plans, contracts, catalogues.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

?Bachelor's Degree, majored in life science or pharmaceuticals related.

?Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain and/or Commercial background.

?Influence/communication-establishes good relationships; drives change across functional.

Preferred Qualifications

?Sourcing experience in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Company is a plus.

?Bench work in Bio-lab is preferred.

?With compression powerful people, and own initiative driving force.
