Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

The DC Asst. Manager for Facility Construction will work with developer, constructor and external PM to monitor and ensure construction to meet operations requirements and also to drive the achievement within timeline, quality and budget.

He / she will need to manage DC facility and continually develop in terms of maintenance, optimization and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Conduct feasibility studies of various projects to determine the value of an investment and provide an cost-effective justification for capital appropriations

·       Develop maintenance plan so as to guarantee the facility under good condition

·       Work with developer, constructor and external PM to manage the quality of construction and ensure Ops’ requirements to be fulfilled 100% on quality, on time and in budget.

·       Be responsible for related OPEX and CAPEX yearly budget, monthly budget forecast and responsible for monitoring the actual vs. budgeted cost, analyse and recommend cost saving methodology.

·       Understand DC Ops processes so as to cooperate with Ops teams to guarantee physical operation

·       Develop and optimize HSE (Health, Safe and Environment) management system

Key interface with developer, constructor and external PM.on behalf of adidas Group

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·       Good construction project management and vendor management skills

·       Experience with AutoCAD is highly desirable

·       Good organizational skills

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills

·       Good skills in Mandarin and English

·       Competency with Excel and Word.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

·       University degree

·       4+ year practical experience in property / construction management would be a must.
