 Job Description:    

1. Automotive seating welding/assembly process developing on structure/ mechanism product;

2. Provide manufacturing input to support new business case quotation;

3. Support activities such as DFM, DFA, DFMEA etc. in product design phase;

4. Manufacturing system design for structure product welding process;

5. Develop machine RFQ and work closely with other departments to complete equipment procurement;

6. Develop process document such as process flow, PFMEA, control plan etc. in new program’s launch phase;

7. Track and manage machine supplier to ensure machine delivered with good quality and in time, support machine installation and qualification in both vendor site and Lear site;

8. Take charge of machine buy off and final acceptance, support sample build per program requires;

9. Support continuous improvement and problem solving for plants operation.

10. Other tasks as supervisor arranged.

  Qualification:    

1. Minimum 12 years working experience as advanced manufacturing engineer in automotive industry, Seating is preferable;

2. Experienced in seating structure manufacturing process include GMAW, Laser welding, resistance welding and mechanical assembly;

3. Solid professional knowledge with major in mechanical or material engineering, bachelor degree is required;

4. Proven experience with Quality tools (QS9000, TS16949) and manufacturing system design;

5. Showing good engineering sense, data-driven decision making skill, lean thinking is required also;

6. Showing skill or experience to utilize statistical tools for problem solving;

7. Be willing to travel domestically and internationally;

8. Excellent interpersonal communicating skill, fluent English in both reading, written, oral and aural;

9. Skill of Microsoft office, Auto-cad, 3D modeling, Minitab etc.;

10. Self-motivation, independent, team player.
