Position: Senior EHS Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement effective EHS programs to ensure compliance with government regulations and reduce environmental pollution and the injury/illness to employees;
2. Setting-up annual EHS targets and managing related actions plan. Issuing annual EHS budget; organizing trainings (both with employees and suppliers) on safety, medical regulations and environment rules.
3. Provide EHS management and/or technical advice and counsel to MD and management, and interact extensively with management, line and functional staff, factory employees and service technicians on EHS issues.
4. Full responsibility for the ISO14001 system, as well as for the achievement of all EHS certificates / licenses needed by plant.
5. Establish, update, issue and implement EHS policies, procedures and emergency response
6. Conduct and review HES accident and incident investigations to determine root cause and proactive solutions
7. Conduct periodical EH&S inspections and audits to ensure the effectiveness of EHS compliance and risk controls
8. Track the corrective and preventive action plans for EHS inspections and/or audits, to ensure timely completion
9. Maintaining good relations with Government agencies in all matters related to EHS. Coordinating on site visits and ensuring adequate communication in terms of actions plan and data tracking.

10.This position will be reported to GM. And there is potential opportunity to be promoted to EHS supervisor if the candidate is proved to be competent to this position.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

· Minimum Bachelors’ degree on Environment Engineering or Safety Engineering, Certified Safety Engineer Certificate or other EHS certification is a plus

· Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in EHS management, experience in Fortune 500 multinational company is preferred;

· Good communication skills in Both Chinese and English

· Strong sense of responsibility; with good capacity of spirit of cooperation

· The salary will be in accordance of the candidate working experience.
