Role Title: Senior Consultant Specialist\nBusiness: OSS - Operation Share Services\nRole Purpose / Description\nOBS (Online Banking System) is an in-house developed, mainframe based ‘bank in a box’ supporting majority of banking applications for retail and corporate businesses of AMH and HASE banks in Hong Kong.\nOBS serves as the backend for major channels, including branch network, Personal Internet banking, ATM, Phonebanking, Digital, HSBCnet, etc. It also serves back offices and processing centres in various sites (Guangzhou, Foshan, Malaysia, etc).\nAs more and more projects are built/setup in OBS, we are now sincerely inviting experienced IT professional to join our team.\n? Specialized with Core banking product features and mainframe development\n? Feasibility Study: Participate in feasibility study\n? Participate in estimation and Requirement analysis. Assist in development/evolution of estimation templates\n? Provide guidance and suggestions on, fine tuning the performance of application, provide technical consultancy to project teams.\n? Promote usage of right tools, explore the possibilities of effective and flexible tools and develop components / tools for it\n? Design & Coding: Develop / review the technical design. Primarily Guide and mentor team. Develop code if required\n? Reviews: Conduct review of design/code/test plan, test results and deployment as per plan. Work on automating the reviews.\n? Suggest and validate best practices across the SDLC and assist in implementing them along with standards\n? Communicate with the relevant stake holder regarding resolving technical issues related to delivery of projects\n? Conducing Technical training and mentoring and knowledge sharing. . Identify potential Specialist from the teams\n? Create and implement reuse charter for the projects supported. Promote the usage of repositories\n? Update with future technology / application trends, collaborate with Architect / Project teams and provide feedback.\n? Customer Facing: Actively consult and communicate customers\n职位要求：\nKnowledge & Experience / Qualifications\n? University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline\n? Over 10 year solid working experience in IT industry, or knowledge in Core Banking industry will be an advantage.\n? Excellent work knowledge with 2 or 3 of the following technologies would be an advantage: DB2 SQL, MQ, CICS, COBOL and ASSEMBLER, and constantly provide best practices to share and implement.\n? Good analytical, mathematical and strong problem solving skills, Able to work under pressure, demonstrate enthusiasm and learn quickly\n? Able to provide excellent technical / application solutions.\n? Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, good customer interaction and continuously work on enhancing the technical / application competency of team members.
