Job Summary

  

Responsible to develop/design cost-effective cable to address company objectives, with a particular focus on achieving the maximum container loading and reducing the material cost, ensuring the goods with enough protection and delivery to its destination without any damage.

  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  

• Design/Develop the cost-effective cable (factory to factory)

• Familiar with customer’s Cable specification and cable product test procedure;

• Communicate with customer on the cable concept/cable drawings and get customer approval;

• Release packaging BOM list to IE team/ECN coordinator for BOM setup;

• Validate samples and check its spec to meet the design requirement;

• Validate cable testing(compression test, and inspection plans to assure quality of cable with quality insurance department;

• Solve cable issues with internal teams, customers and cable vendors from NPI phase to mass production;

• Handle multiple project

• Exercises a good working knowledge of materials, fabrication processes, and sources of supply associated with specific commodities

• Other duties assigned by supervisor
