As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the Electrification Business and Distribution Solutions Business Line (BL) based in Beijing. ABB is the world leader in offering the Electrification Products and Systems that provide Building Products, Electrification Solutions, Installation Products, Protection and connection and Medium Voltage Products.

You will be supporting diverse engineering projects in Secondary GIS Product Group/ Distribution Solutions Business Line / Electrification Business in Beijing/China country/NAS region. Reporting to the Electrical Section Manager, you will be responsible for Electrical Design of MV Switchgear.

？ Have the ability to electrical design to the specific engineering requirements.
？ Cooperate with DI to update the major solution design in order to meet the requirements of products, give the answer to the question raised by our customers towards products.
？ Cooperate in designing the project schedule to make sure the project on time.
？ Cooperate in the production issue.
？ Design new scheme according to the market requirements, extend product functions, optimize original design.
？ Support on design scheme confirmation before contract receiving.
？ To write the related technical documentations.

？ Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Electrical Automation or relevant discipline.
？ 3+ years of working experience and a comprehensive and systematic knowledge of Electrical Design, Switchgear Structure, Machining and Application Processing.
？ Good command of Power System knowledge and MV Switchgear technology on manufacture process and standards.
？ Familiar with MS word, Excel, AutoCAD etc.
？ A very strong learning ability, pragmatic spirit and good communication skills.
？ Highly responsible, self-motivated and Willing to take on additional tasks.
？ Has a positive progressive attitude under pressure to work.
？ Fluent in oral and written English.
