DESCRIPTION:

The Planning Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the product, location and promotion libraries used by the Merchandising, Planning and Allocation teams to get the right product, in the right place, at the right time.

This includes the creation and operation of technical based processes in Microsoft Office and SAP Business Objects.

This position will work directly with the Planning, Merchandising, and Allocation teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintain accurate product library based on inputs from Merchandising, Planning and Allocation teams.

· Maintain accurate location master library based on inputs from Planning and Real Estate teams.

· Update multi-channel promotion calendar with aligned promotion plan and weekly changes from the Merchandise Planning team.

· Create exception reports to identify issues in the data and call the correct teams to action.

· Conduct product analysis as needed to support the planning and buying decisions.

EXPERIENCE:

· High level of flexibility and willingness to learn is required.

· Interest in data is required, and a willingness to learn new applications and software.

· Must be curious and comfortable asking questions.

· Desire and ability to work and communicate with other people.

· Intermediate level of English speaking and writing is required.

· Must be comfortable with large sets of data.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and in interest and willingness to learn new tools and software. Microsoft Access / VBA is a plus.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
