JOB FUNCTION:

This position is critical for both USA and WOFE/China operations. Main responsibility is to ensure product produced in China is made to the exact specifications as stated . This will mean constant product inspection at existing/selected vendors in China and individual will have the responsibility of approving or rejecting product destined to ship to either USA, WOFE or specific customers. Together with this product Quality Control, this individual will be responsible to oversee existing or improved logistics of these products regardless of where the product is being shipped. Under this role, individual will be responsible for WOFE Warehouse and its operation.

LOCATION:

When not travelling to visit suppliers, individual will office at WOFE site in Shanghai.

QUALIFICATIONS:

First and foremost qualification is the ability to communicate, speak, write, read and listen in English. A critical component of the position is to understand and interpret engineering drawings to various product suppliers throughout China. In addition, the individual will be required to submit weekly reporting of activities, project updates, reviewing goals and schedule for the coming weeks. Other:

College Degree (preferably engineering);

Shanghai Driver’s License and use of car;

Ability to secure passport;

3-5 years Machine Tool Experience;

Have some experience with import & export procedure policy;

Possess basic computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, etc.

Willing to accept significant travel depending on requirements

Candidate must be honest, self-motivated, confident and “Large and In Charge”.
