Overall purpose of the role:
The Field Service Engineer will provide typical after sales support for all Servomex Gas Analyzers and sample systems. He is required to support end users and to travel all China customers. He has good flexibility to travel and to possess an approachable character in order to conduct trainings, to execute projects in house testing, to conduct in house service repairs, to extend remote telephone/email technical support to all customers and partners. He must possess strong gas analytical knowledge of 3rd party gas analyzers, with at least 3 years of gas analytical service experience. He would be required to have good understanding on functional design of sample handling system, sample extraction methods, basics of gas chromatography.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
? Commission and repair all models of the Servomex product line.
? Ensure that the company’s reputation is maintained and enhanced through exceeding expectations, delighting customers and achieving company objectives.
? To provide technical support to Servomex Technicians, Field Engineers, Applications Specialists and Sales Team, as well as, end users, channel partners and distributors as needed.
? To take responsibility and leadership roles as necessary to assist in the growth and volume of Field Service and Repairs by promoting Training, Service Center Repairs, Commissioning and Rental programs.
? To provide assistance with technical sales enquiries for Servomex products and help make our customers aware of the advantages of maintenance contracts.
? To complete required documentation for service activities such as field service, training, expense and labor utilization reports by required deadlines.
? To communicate with relevant departments regarding problems with Servomex equipment and systems by utilizing CFS System. Take responsibility for completing all follow up actions required in the CFS process.
? To be responsible for all details of service visits. These include making travel arrangements, contacting end user for final visit confirmation and carrying the required spares inventory to complete repairs.
任职资格:
Essential skills and experience:
? A proven track record of working within a Field Service Engineer position with demonstrable experience of installing and troubleshooting and repairing gas chromatographs
? Strong Electronic and Instrumentation background.
? Significant experience with gas analyzers utilizing paramagnetic, IR, Zirconia Coulometric and TDL for process measurements.
? Experienced in providing various levels of customer training.
? Excellent trouble shooting capabilities to solve problems.
? General and sample system integration knowledge
? Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
? Competent in MS Office suite and SAP.
? Good written and verbal English skills.
? Ability to work and communicate with multicultural partners.
Desirable skills and experience:
? Experience in using any other CRM tools.
? Experience and knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques. Implementing Lean projects.
? Preferably can speak Japanese / Mandarin.
