Job Title EHS Engineer Business Unit Integrated Facilities Management Department Telecom R & D Center Reporting Relationships JLL Site Manager Location Jinqiao, Pudong, Shanghai Objective The Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager will be responsible for managing the IFM EHS Management System for JLL operations site located in Shanghai for the client site; ensuring compliance with JLL, client and statutory requirements. . · Identifying the national legislative standards and best practice for the EHS discipline · Identifying risks at the site level, and then designing and implementing practical risk management strategies and procedures based on the JLL EHS Management System. · Ensuring the JLL EHS Management System and Standards are consistently used and identified in all managed properties. · Ensuring compliance with all client owned EHS policies and practice. · Oversight of operational EHS. · Compliance and performance; reporting against JLL and client EHS metrics and KPI’s. · Responsible for a programme for the audit, measurement and reporting of EHS performance against agreed standards. · Influencing staff, clients and contractors through effective communication. Accountabilities n Follow client and JLL’s EHS requirements, local codes and regulations, and best practices. n Develop, manage and implement the EHS & CEM plan and processes for all facility-related activities at site n Ensure all facility operations, maintenance and management activities of the electrical, mechanical, chemical, fire systems and equipment, etc are performed in a safe and efficient manner and comply with the Company, Client and Government’s policies and requirements. n Manage all safety work plan (SWP) program activities and work request documentation according to the Client’s requirements. n Manage the documentation of all EHS activities and the investigation and documentation of all facility-related EHS incidents at site n Conduct EHS & CEM training, review and update for team members, promote awareness of EHS among the team members. n Conduct EHS audit on all facility operations, maintenance and management activities n To comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards n Follow up insurance claims required by Client n In charge of waste chemical storage room and damage goods storage room n Follow and supervise Client LAB users’ non-compliance conducts n Assist Client EHS to complete the site EHS report n Responsible, develop, and issue the EHS monthly report for the site n Responsible for managing the vendors of fit out, renovation, and small construction vendor to ensure the EHS compliance. n Conduct regular EHS site audit to develop the improvement list and follow up. n Complete and support accidents investigations Key Result Areas n Client Satisfaction n No delay of incident report n Periodic EHS evaluation and supervision n Proper EHS plan n Non-violation of governmental codes and standards related on EHS. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience n Minimum college education in Engineering or related fields n Electronic/chip lab experience preferred n Minimum 5 years working experience in related field and 2 years of supervision experience n Ability to organize and plan the work system n Computer literate n Similar Telecom company working experience preferred n Safety Engineer license (national) preferred n Foreign company background preferred n Good interpersonal skills n Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, codes of Practice, guidance and operating procedures. Ability to keep abreast of trends and related best practice. n Evidence of strong interpersonal skills in order to establish credibility with colleagues and senior management and to foster effective working relations with a wide range of senior internal, client and external contacts. n Influencing/negotiation skills with the ability to adopt different styles depending on the circumstances. n Knowledge and understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001& OHSAS18001. n Identify conclusions or approaches to problems n Identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system n Systematic approach with good attention to detail. n Excellent PC skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. n Interest in continuous improvement and development of new technologies n Solid organisational skills, analytical ability and communication flair. n Ability to research specialist EHS subjects and produce reports making recommendations.

Competencies n Excellent verbal communication skills - incorporating contact on a one to one level, addressing senior management meetings, formal presentations and client meetings. n Effective written communication - ranging from factual/technical reports and risk assessments, through to the drafting of account policy, and training materials. n Ability to work unsupervised and take positive action to resolve issues on own initiative. n Self-motivated with the ability to enthuse and manage multi-cultural teams and management. n Presentation skills to deliver specialist advice at all levels and to deliver localised training to staff as required. n Results orientated with a strong focus on the delivery of objectives, including an ability to provide creative and innovative solutions based on a sound understanding of business requirements. n Good organisational skills, ability to balance competing demands and to meet deadlines. n Ability to contribute as a member of specific groups within the company meeting structure. n Ability to research and generate policy and strategy. n Team player, strong business acumen n Ability to work through and identify the root cause and irreversible corrective action for any problem n Ability to carry out an audit and gather objective evidence through observation, interview and sampling of documents and records
