Job Summary:

Applications engineer will evaluate customer technical requirements and work with design engineers to support the company's sales development in China. Also he is required to complete gauges/clusters vehicle test on site professionally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Evaluate customer technical requirements on standard and customized vehicle instrumentation. Recommend the right products for customer.

2. Understand customer technical requirements and work with design engineer to define the new product design concept.

3. Work with OEM customer to do the field test with Maxima instrumentation and complete the field test report.

4. Work with OEM customer to validate the working conditions of vehicles and find out the failure mode of instrumentation.

5. Develop and maintain good relationship with technical people from customer side.

6. Train customer on knowledge of Maxima products and how to apply on their vehicle.

7. Serve as liaison between the customer and Maxima, work closely with Maxima global engineering team.

8. Manage and follow through specific projects.

9. Read and interpret schematics to support electronic measurements, troubleshooting, and understanding of the interaction of our product with the customer's electrical system

Qualifications资格要求:

1. Bachelor or higher education majored in Mechanical, Electrical and Automobile engineering with at least 3 years of automotive experience.

2. 3+ years experience in Electronics and/or automotive industrial. Preferably as Electronics engineer or Application Engineer or System Engineer.

3. Work Experience as engineer in Construction Equipment, Bus, Truck, Passenger Car industry etc. is preferred.

4. Knowledge of tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T is desirable.

5. Knowledge of Mechanical design tool (Auto CAD, PROE) is a plus.

6. Understanding of CAN is plus.

7. Knowledge of software is plus.

8. Fluent in English, oral and writing.
