The Mechanical Design Engineer should:
· Design and develop products for automotive equipment.Must be capable of taking total systems level responsibility for a product design. Can direct the technical work of other engineers and technicians.

· Provide mechanical design and development of new products or product enhancements in the automotive equipment industry.

· Perform in a team environment with engineers from other disciplines and nationalities.

· Prepare thorough and accurate documentation for release to manufacturing and for internal product design records. Maintain an engineering notebook to document work activity in support of company's patent goals.

· Test and validate products to assure product performance and quality.

· Work with manufacturing and service personnel to resolve problems and improve manufacturability and serviceability of products.

· Design for manufacturability.

· Work with manufacturing engineering on value engineering initiatives to reduce product cost and/or improve performance of designs.

· Develop an understanding of the company's products and their applications.

· Assign and review the work of others.

Technical Quali?cations:
· Bachelor on Mechanical Design with a minimum of 3 years design experience.Master is preferred.

· Up to date design and development of large assemblies with moving / rotating components, wear components, weldments and hydraulic / electrical devices.

· Capable of performing stress analysis and other related calculations to support designs.

· Basic understanding of complementary technical disciplines, particularly electronics.

· Able to work with others and with minimal supervision with different cultures

· Demonstrate good problem solving and analytical skills for mechanical systems.

· Must be proficient in the use of the computer for design and testing. ProE CAD experience is required.

· Must have practical experience in manufacturing processes and equipment.

· Project management and customer interface experience is a plus.
