Role Summary/Purpose
The Underground Mining Equipment Sales Manager will primarily be responsible for the direct sales of Underground Mining equipment across China. In this role, you will lead a direct sales force to develop and influence the marketing of Underground Mining Equipment, parts, multi-generation product plan upgrade packages and service offerings to our current and future customers in China.
Essential Responsibilities
* Drive the Underground Mining P&L orders, sales, cash, receivable balance and inventory metrics to meet or exceed plan * Own business QMI, sales forecasting, IOP development & tracking * Work to achieve or exceed key business metrics such as revenue, CM$, and CM% * Work closely with global supply chain and production planning team to ensure on-time delivery of products through robust planning and scheduling techniques * Work with the supply chain team to continue to drive reduction in product lead times while reducing the risk of inventory to the business * Utilize excellent problem solving, continuous improvement, Change Acceleration Process (CAP), and project / program management experience to get the job done
Qualifications/Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business related discipline * Previous direct sales experience including pricing and contract negotiation, sales forecasting, and setting / executing to sales plans * Previous sales management experience (heavy equipment or industrial products an advantage) * Experience working in collaboration with a finance or operations team to agree pricing, cash, sales, margin analysis, and forecasting strategy * Ability and willingness to travel as required

* Strong communication skills with particular focus on developing influential presentations utilizing Powerpoint and other multi media * Proactive and driving personality, dedicated to serving the customer * Six Sigma certified (GE Employees only) * Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational integration experience with customers and senior management and cross-functional leaders * Exceptional clear thinking ability * Ability to manage internal and external requirements to maximize revenue and margin
