Position Summary:
Supports Company Asia Regional Manager in the sale and promotion of Company products by performing a wide variety of assigned duties, while coordinating their activities with the Socitec Group Companies and Import/Export agencies. Gains knowledge of Company products, equipment/machinery applications, target markets, and develops proficiency with company software systems and procedures.
Education, experience and qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed to best fulfill the position.
? Bachelors Degree in business or related discipline with international sales and marketing exposure.
? Minimum of 2 years of experience in international logistics or international trading experience.
? Computer literacy; MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), CRM (contact management software), email and web applications.
English proficiency:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret English and Chinese business documents, shipping documents, technical documents, and technical drawings. Ability to type and compose English and Chinese business documents, reports, business correspondence, quotations, and shipping documents. Ability to effectively respond in English and Chinese to questions from customers, coworkers and vendors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Manage incoming email, telephone, fax and mail inquiries related to: products, orders, shipments, problems, or complaints.
? Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, mail, email, fax, or in person as needed.
? Obtain customer and machinery data required for selection of products.

? Consult with Sales, Engineering, Production, shipping, or administrative staff to answer or advise customers via telephone, emails or in person.
? Planning, routing and tracking of imported and domestic China shipments, including interacting with inland carriers, export and import agency, ports, vessels, and multiple clients.
? Communicate with Production and Traffic for product lead times, shipping status, and shipping arrangements.
? Submit E-bids, prepare and transmit quotations, lead letters, and other customer related sales correspondence.
? Perform quote, order and lead follow, recording and tracking results, forwarding information as needed for appropriate follow up.
? Translate business documents as needed to perform assigned tasks.
? Observes and reports market condition changes to manager.
? Assist in the coordination of and planning of trade shows as assigned.
? Represent the Company at trade shows and other events to promote the company's products, services, and capabilities as needed.
? Recommend work procedure improvements.
? Maintain and organize office records.
? Occasional travel to customers to deliver quotations, follow-up sales leads and quotations, solicit orders, and provide support to customers.
? When on business travel, record and submit travel expenses.
? Other duties as assigned.
