Job description

Business Development Specialist is responsible for exploring new business opportunities for Gates Fluid Power products (i.e. hydraulic hose, coupling, hose assembly, industrial hose, etc.)

Works with sales team to develop new applications, increase customer base, expand geographic coverage and grow business

Key responsibilities

#1: To build up connections with OEM’s in different market segments, including but not limited to construction machinery, agriculture, aerial working platform and injection molding machine

#2: To study Gates products offerings and pricing strategies for focus segments

#3: To probe into early stage sales leads by making cold calls, sending emails and other means

#4: To develop new growth initiatives and communicate with sales teams to follow up and close deals

Requirements

Hydraulics business experience

Familiar with stationary or mobile hydraulic application

5+ years of sales or marketing function

Able to travel 50% of the time if needed

Qualifications

University degree, preferably majored in engineering

Fluent in written and spoken Chinese / English

Good communication skills and presentation skills

Fluent in Microsoft Office
