As a Testing Lead, you are responsible for managing a small team of data analysts and drive end to end testing activities within a project. Primary responsibilities would be, understand requirements & data mapping, define test plan, develop test cases & technical test scripts, conduct reviews and execute test cases. The goal of this position is to utilize Quality Assurance/Quality Control best practices, as well as, collaborate with internal software development teams in producing a high-quality software experience to the end user prior to and concluding a Production implementation.

Responsibilities:

? Develop Test Strategy and Test Plan for Data Migration

? Manage overall testing requirement under specific area. Manage all test resources.

? Develop test scripts/ conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more test plans

? Follow the defined testing standards and procedures for testing projects

? Execute test scripts and validate product fixes

? Record problems and issues in accordance with the project’s problem and issue management plans

? Experience in Data Analysis, Data Validation.

? Hands on Experience on Data Testing

? Responsible for reviewing Test Cases prepared by the QA team.

? Co-ordinated the onsite and offshore team’s handshakes on day to day activities.

? Responsible for reporting status of various testing activities to the Management.

? Responsible for creating and maintaining the QA SharePoint for the project.

? Provide Testing sign off documents for various deployments on the project on an as needed basis.

Requirement:

? Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Master degree is desirable, but will waive this requirement entirely if you have significant and applicable real world experience.

? 6-8 years of overall hardcore functional testing experience.

? Minimum 4-5 years of managing ETL Projects.

? Strong knowledge on STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) 

? Proficient in SQL queries– Oracle, My SQL, MS SQL, MS Access

? Excellent working knowledge in Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Requirements and Test Case.

? Experience in defect life cycle management – logging, replication, triaging, verification, closing, metrics reporting, etc.

? Must have strong communication skills that allow you to regularly deal with the business, as well as with specialists from related fields, including developers and testers.

? Client facing or consulting experience highly preferred.

? Must know both Chinese and English Language

? Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
