职位描述

Main objective of this role:
-Govern origin process and drive origin process improvement across all origins
-Monitor monthly, weekly and daily KPI and be responsible for data quality across all origins
-Manage and monitor origin's operational performance
-Benchmark and improve performance levels of origins across all milestones of the shipping process
-Drive global operation and customer service excellence with sufficient analysis, reporting, and recommendations for supply chain improvement in origins
-Ensure all origin's understanding and compliance to TCP SOP
-Develop operational improvement tools and cross country sharing mechanisms to enhance SOP and supply chain management by Damco
-Focal point to customers for operations escalation
Tasks and Responsibility:
-Origin Performance Monitoring
--Drive operational excellence targets specified by customer SOP
--Ensure compliance with the service standard sets
--Proactively and continuously find new ways of improving service levels and efficiencies in the day-to-day operations and drive same across origins
--Origin KPIs monitoring i.e. late booking, booking discrepancy, late documents, ASN timeliness & data quality
-Daily Operation
--Maintain origin process maps
--Take an active part in information sharing and take interest in developing the necessary skills and knowledge to perform at higher level
--Conduct regular process reviews with origins and improve operational process flow across origins
--Identify and execute tactics designed to solve specified operational problems
--Regular follow up on issue log with both origins and client and drive action plan if necessary
--IOP review and update with origins
--Prepare regular / ad-hoc reports and consolidate result of origins as required by client
--Consolidate contact / holiday list for client on regular basis
--Be the backup of Shanghai Customer service team leader
-Project Implementation
--Continue to drive optimization, improvement and system implementation and monitor the performance of origins
--Regular review with customers for establishment of workshops/materials for implementation in the future
--Develop reporting and performance monitoring tools, teach origins how to use it
--To review end to end process and agree on timeline that allows optimal lead time while operationally deliverable
Job Knowledge & Competency
-Broad knowledge of Logistics, advanced knowledge of operational practices and some basic knowledge of liner and NVOCC operations
Communication skills
-Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to mainly internal parties
-Conduct training on SOP to origins
-Maintain close working relationships with clients at the operational level and partially operational development/management level
-Support where possible the client relationship
-Proactively and continuously share best practice with and across origin teams, taking a leading role in improving the origins understanding and knowledge of the client business
-Active dialogue with clients independently
Performance will be measured on:
-Operational KPI of branch offices (origin KPI)
-Feedback from client on relationship and communication efficiencies, as reflected in customer satisfaction survey
-Initiatives on projects or new operational processes bringing positive impact to Damco CM1
