Summary/Mission

To manage Aetna’s sales, service,and retention efforts for HMS products in an assigned region to achieve profitable growth and earnings targets. To manage operational goals and maximize efficiencies.

 

Position Summary/Mission

Supports the development of strong relationships directly with customers, prospects and internal business partners that lead to the achievement of new sales, profitable growth and earnings targets.

 

Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements

· Supports the Head of Sales in the achievement of the revenue goals for the assigned portfolio/region

· Assists in the cultivation and development of producer and consultant contacts in the assigned territory

· Maintains contact and opportunity data in system

· Develops research and material around potential prospects and marketplace data

· Maintains awareness of competitive landscape

· Produces sales of International product through direct and producer distribution channels

· Supports China HMS Sales Team members with complex case sales efforts

· Articulate the Aetna Global Value Proposition

· Supports the cross-sell efforts within Aetna International

· Project lead in the development of strategy in large case RFP responses

· To take responsibility to always actively treat customers fairly (TCF) and support / drive any TCF initiative
