Groups (or, as we call them – sub-service lines) within Tax include Business Tax Services, Global Compliance and Reporting, Human Capital, Indirect Tax Services, International Tax Services and Transaction Tax Services.

Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities

As a member within the international tax team, you'll demonstrate an understanding of tax concepts and effectively apply your tax knowledge to client situations. You'll deliver of tax planning ideas with timely, responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations. You'll also thoroughly and accurately analyse information and prepare of quality, practical approaches tailored to the client's economic situation, arriving at logical conclusions. Your remit will include participating in and contributing to the achievement of team goals.

Skills and attributes for success

• Build and maintain good working relationships with clients.


• Build and maintain a portfolio of international tax clients.


• Build relationships both within the firm and externally with clients, identifying opportunities and managing expectations.


• Manage the successful delivery of international tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken.


• Responsible for day-to-day delivery of client liaison.

Requirements:

To qualify for the role you must have

• University graduates from Accounting major with at least 6 years of relevant work experience in PRC corporate tax or related accounting fields.


• A CPA, CTA, law license or related qualifications


• Outbound tax working experience


• Good knowledge of tax laws with specialized knowledge in one or more technical areas.


• Strong interpersonal skills and able to interact effectively with both management and clients.


• Excellent supervisory, analytical, organizational and leadership ability.


• A commitment to learning in a tax technology environment.


• Occasional travel is required.


• Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges
