Responsible for maintaining the overall formulation integrity, localizing global products to China, with developing local products to fit market need, value engineering to optimizing the balance of cost and quality, developing local raw material resources via working with Operation team, supporting Operation team to solve the quality issue and production issues, work with China management team to reach the financial plan, coordinate Carboline Asia activities.

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, minimum of 5 years’ experience in Protective coatings Chemist position.            

DUTIES:

Assessing new technologies and ideas for Carboline China Evaluate new technologies and new ideas for coating formulation and applications, up to and including initial lab work for validation ·        

Localize global or oversea products into China via using local materials without sacrificing any quality and performance.      

Develop local products based on Sales and Market needs. ·        

Does value engineering to achieve cost saving without sacrificing products quality and performance ·        

Support Operation Division to scale up new products and solve any quality issues. ·        

Develops local raw material resources via working with Operation team. ·        

Support Technical Service team to solve quality issues in customers’ sites. ·        

Work with China management team to achieve China’s financial plan. ·        

Develop R&D talents to align China’s growth plan. ·        

Coordinate and support Carboline Asia’s activities and subsidiaries.
