What you will do:

Responsibility
Level:

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the financial reporting of the assigned sales
channels for current production and targeted new business.

He/she will work with the Commercial Finance Team, and support the Directors / Managers of the channels.

He/she will direct the activity with the customers and be responsible for all major quoting
activities.

 He/she will review business casesand CAR's for the existing and targeted business.

He/she will be responsible for the Hyperion reports and for all related BOS activities.

Typical
Duties:

Collects relevant data to develop Targeted Business Plan which assess Return on Investment to support product and strategic planning.
Collects relevant data to develop the Business Plan and necessary financial business case simulations to support commercial answering customer Request For Quotation (RFQ)
Identifies financial risks and opportunities through reviewing and challenging input data.
Develop Quotations which will be submitted to our Customers

Work with a complex bill of material to understand and cost a product

Work with a variety of manufacturing processes and related costs

Develop competitive pricing strategies

Develop proforma for new manufacturing facilities

Attend project team meetings

Follow-up on open financial issues until they are resolved

Perform monthly financial updates for top management

Explain product costs to our Customer's Financial Analysts

Negotiate pricing Set cost targets for suppliers

Accomplish key financial measures Initiate product cost reduction efforts

Month-end close and financial segment review analysis

Execute strategy of the channel sales or business segment to which they are aligned

Capital Appropriation Request preparation and submission

Overall income statement responsibility for their segment

Direct involvement in spending and recoveries for all applicable areas

What we look for:

REQUIREMENTS:

Four year college degree in Business or Finance; highly desired
A Technical education, such as, Engineering or Program Management, will also be considered

Advanced degree such as

an MBA or professional accreditation (CPA, CMA) is preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience related to financial management or project management in a
manufacturing environment
Proven excellence in financial skills
Automotive experience is a plus
Ability to work well in team environment and to perform under pressure/tight deadlines.
Understanding of JCI's financial systems (Hyperion and Matrix) and processes (order to cash, billing)
Fundamentals of operations and product costing
Highly mobile and willing to travel within the region
Experience in SAP, Oracle, MFG/Pro, Hyperion
Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly desirable
Highly motivated, self-starter, confident, able to work with limited supervision.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills
Should be highly analytical, meticulous and demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal
skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding customer communication skills are essential for success in this position
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
