General Description :

This incumbent will act as legal advisor in relation to the legal matters and issues which may occur in the operations of a multinational company in China. He (or She) shall mainly be in charge of contract drafting and reviewing, providing legal support for constructions projects, handling commercial litigation cases and labor disputes, etc.

Requirements :

1. Graduate of a recognized law school in China or abroad and admitted as a member of the legal

profession in China, with at least five (5) years as legal counsel.

2. Good knowledge of Chinese legal system and the main laws, i.e. contract laws, company laws, foreign

investment enterprises laws, labor laws, etc., judicial system;

3. Good experience in dealing with distribution and Franchise Business.

4. Must be fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (speaking, reading and writing).

5. Must be willing to accept moderate to substantial travel to company's industrial sites in China to

support the construction projects and commercial department' daily business.

Responsibilities :

With little supervision, performing legal services for companies in China,

including: drafting, negotiation and reviewing of legal documents & contracts; providing legal support &

advice for company's daily business and operations, etc.

Providing legal support to company's construction projects and commercial departments' daily operations.

Providing training to business departments in legal awareness.

Participating in other projects as assigned.
