Essential Responsibilities :

– Facilitates projects and initiatives with broad scope and impact to the business. Responsible for initiatives with long term business implication. Develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet the simplification goals of the role.

– Serve as a change agent in institutionalizing Lean simplification methodology.

– Apply Lean tools to improve process capability reduce variation and eliminate waste.– Execute the Lean strategy for process improvement.

– Through completion of a training program on Lean philosophy, theory, and application tools/tactics, deliver breakthrough levels of improvement in process capability, producibility of designs and business processes to reduce defects and attain world-class levels of quality and cycle time reduction.

– Facilitate, train, and coach team members in the use of Lean tools.

– Work with operating leaders and teams to uncover and assess Lean Six Sigma opportunities for GE and its suppliers and customers.

– Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices.

– Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.

– Identify potential process improvement projects

Qualifications/Requirements :

– Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

– Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

– Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

– Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.

Desired Characteristics :

1. Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college

2. At least 4 additional years of experience in a business environment
