A test manager/lead role exists in a major financial institution to ensure high quality applications are delivered for the Client Research business.

· Oversight of testing within project from concept through to delivery

· Test management including test planning, execution and defect management

· Overall in-charge of testing deliverables

· Engage with the project teams and co-ordinate to set up/configure the test environments and test data

· Communicate to project working committee and steering committee

· Define the testing process and provide guidance

· Conduct risk analysis and develop risk/mitigation plan

· Continually revise processes for continual improvement

· Create test strategy, plan and test scenarios

· 8+years of IT experience

· Leadership skills to drive vendor and internal teams

· Ability to lead, manage and co-ordinate all stages of testing working with multiple stake holders

· Previous testing experience of banking applications for both web and windows applications preferably in the Research Domain

· In-depth understanding of automated testing and performance testing tools, e.g. QuickTest Pro, TestComplete

· Worked on various test tools for issue and defect tracking, e.g. Quality Centre/JIRA

· Extensive experience in working with systems development support, testing and project deployments

· Fundamental understanding of performance testing process, capacity planning and dependencies

· Experience in test environment set up and management
