SUMMARY
The Global ICT DFT / Test Development Engineer performs Design For Test (DFT) Analysis on Complex PCB Assemblies and communicate issues and recommendations to Jabil and customer based PCB design engineers. He design and develop the ICT Test solution to hand over to supporting ICT Test in manufacturing.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties will be discussed to support business need and for career development.

DFT
? Schematic Review - Analyze Circuit Board Schematics and recommend modifications to circuitry to ensure that the PCB Assembly will be testable with a high level of defect coverage. Highlight violations to set design rules for test
? CAD Review - Analyze CAD data using Fabmaster or other software and recommend modifications to ensure that the PCB Assembly will be testable with regard to mechanical fixturing and probing specifications.
? Test Strategy - Analyze both Schematic and CAD data using Testway software or other DFT tools and collaborate with site Test Engineers to recommend structural test steps and give predicted test coverage based on these recommendations. Following completion of test development generate reports comparing predicted test coverage vs. realized test coverage.
? Jabil DFT Specifications - Make recommendations to the global DFT group regarding updates to the Global DFT Specification based on new technology encountered during DFT reviews.
? Deliver ICT test solution according to customer requirement developing fixture files, test program, test debugging and test coverage report.
ICT Test Development
? Test solution development tasks must be done according to budget and schedule commitments submitted in test solution proposals
? Coordination of development and delivery of test fixture
? Design Review, Test Coverage Review
? Continuous improvement to test through development and adoption of test automation and new test technology.
? Technical support for structural tests in manufacturing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelor's of Science degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering from college or university preferred; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Able to read, write and communicate in English.
? Background in in-circuit test (ICT) development on platform such as Agilent, Genrad, Teradyne, TRI, or Checksum preferred.
? Experienced in various ICT development tool and limited access techniques like boundary scan, silicon nail, CET.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
? Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
? Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
? Ability to write correspondence.
? Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


TRAVEL
Travel will be required for customer support, training, test solution deployment, and to achieve many other Jabil business goals.
Domestic and international travel will be required, 30%.

In addition, we incorporate vital Design for Manufacturability (DFm) and Design for Testability (DFt) guidelines that reduce production costs and increase product quality.

Our Design capabilities include electrical engineering, software engineering, PCB layout, mechanical engineering, industrial design, tooling engineering, and quality assurance.

We currently maintain product competencies in networking, servers and storage, mobile and wireless products and consumer electronics.

Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT)
Advanced Manufacturing Technology provides customer and sales support, systematic training, equipment and process capability studies, implementation support and technology roadmaps for advanced manufacturing, test and failure analysis processes and emerging product technologies.

Global Test Services (GTS)
Global Test Services provides test development and support for all Jabil manufacturing facilities.
