Programmer & Analyst/Programmer

1.0 PURPOSE

1.1 To establish a Job Description that outlines the reporting relationships,prerequisties,
responsibilities and general job requirements for the Programmer & Analyst/Programmer.

2.0 SCOPE

2.1 This Job Description shall apply to the Programmer and Analyst/Programmer at
Jabil Circuit (Shanghai) Ltd.

3.0 APPROVALS

4.0 DEFINITION

4.1 MIS : Management Information System
4.2 IT : Information Technology

5.0 RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1 The Programmer and Analys/Programmer will responsible to his/her assigned
Programming Projects.
5.2 Provide technical support to Application Administrator in system development and
procedure for processing data/information to provide timely information.


6.0 REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

6.1 Report to Application Administrator.

7.0 JOB SUMMARY

7.1 To maintain a quality and audited application systems that operate according
to system function and specification in System Development section.


8.0 PREREQUISITES

8.1 Tertiary education in IT discipline.



9.0 JOB DESCRIPTION

9.1 Perform the programming task according to System Specification prepared by
Application Administrator followed by Jabil IT standards.
9.2 Follow closely with the project time line set by the Business Analyst.
9.3 Perform Programming level testing and ensure high quality coding.
9.4 Develop and maintain programming documentation according to Jabil IT
standards.
9.5 Co-ordinate installation with the Application Administrator and users that need to know,
and update all related system.
9.6 Perform periodical system processing and reporting.
9.7 Applications' training and level 1 user support and consultation.
9.8 Under the supervision of Business Analyst, conduct new applications and
enhancements' analysis.
9.9 Ensure applications' operational uptime that in line with IT corporate goals.


10.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

10.1 Posses a sound knowledge in programming technique and methodology.
10.2 Ability to analyze business logic and design application process flowchart.
