Background:

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) wishes to engage the services of IT Business Analyst (BA) to work on projects to deliver various systems for AIIB’s Treasury department (TRE). TRE department executes borrowing in capital market, invests bank’s liquidity, performs asset and liability management, manage the bank’s cash position and forecasting, and works as the first line of defense in managing the risks.

The BA will be working in IT department (ITD) of AIIB’s head office in Beijing and be reporting to the IT Project Manager who leads the TRE project.

Position Description:

The IT Business Analyst is part of the key project team who will be heavily involved in all phases of the project delivery.

The BA’s major deliverables include but are not limited to the gathering and analysis of business requirements, producing functional requirements from those business requirements, working with the business users to define test plan and test cases during testing phase, working independently and providing consulting services for all IT related items and following IT best practice in delivering the projects, and preparing all the necessary functional and technical documents required as per AIIB IT project guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Work with the business users to define business requirements

- Analyze the business requirements to define functional requirements

- Prepare test plan and test cases for VAT

- Manage open items and issue logs and closely track the items till close

- Produce project documentation according to AIIB IT project guidelines and good project practices

- Other tasks as related to the project delivery and as guided by the business system owner and IT Project Manager

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree and/or above in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields.

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT business analysis, preferably working with treasury systems

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on system implementation projects either as a team member or project manager e Experience in cloud computing is highly desirable

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

- Fluency in English, oral and written

- Understanding of treasury ‘s role, functionality, and operations.

- Sound knowledge of financial products including but not limited to Term Deposit, Money Market, Bonds (Buy/Sell and Issuance), Interest Rate Derivatives, etc.

- Familiar with treasury front office, middle office and back office process.

- Demonstrated skills in collaborative team working, technical analysis, and problem solving.

- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and multi-tasking

- Strong interpersonal communication skills

- High level of diplomacy, integrity, and tact
