Position: Tactical Planner - Indirect Material & Service
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executes Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) with Approved Purchase Requisition.
- Collects cost data and prepares limited supplier cost/industry analyses.
- Supports the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process so design changes and product improvements are implemented in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Develops and executes inventory plans to achieve inventory/asset management and material flow goals; resolves shipping, receiving, invoicing and payment problems to ensure prompt and accurate payments to suppliers.
- Drives continuous improvement in terms of performance and lowest total cost with the Supply Base utilizing Achieving Excellence process and criteria.
- Defines, resolves, and provides permanent solutions to supplier performance issues with the assistance of other functional representatives such as quality, product engineering, etc., while managing the day-to-day supplier relationship issues, thereby assuring proper communication occurs. Expedites parts as necessary.
Scope of Work:
- Receive PR from user department, and transfer PR to Sourcing if it's new commodity
- Create PO based on contract pricing and release PO to supplier
- Track and ensure on time PO delivery
- Receive and check invoice with delivery note to prepare payment request if no quality issue
- Provide cost saving data based on purchasing volume to Sourcing
- Check stock level of Re-order point materials in SAP, and release PO for replenishment on time
- File retention of PR/PO, delivery note, invoice and payment applications
Qualification:
- Understanding of Order Fulfillment Process. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
- Bachelor degree or above
- Good skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
- At least 1 year's experience in specific areas of Supply Management such as: supplier integration, strategic supply management, supplier development, module supply management, scheduling, forecasting, logistics, etc. May be position specific.
