Responsibilities:

  

This is a key role in APAC infrastructure delivery team, reporting APAC infrastructure delivery manager.

  

Work closely with working pairs to define and deliver of standard systems that is required by various locations and applications in APAC region.

  

Standardize and optimize existing hosting environment.

  

Deliver guidance, governance and suggestions to site administrators and/or system owners.

  

Key Chinese speaking coordinator in infrastructure projects.

  

Key skills and competencies

  

Excellent communication skills, especially for cross team communication.

  

Customer-oriented working style

  

Good problem-solving skills

  

Good understand on project methodologies and activities such as risk management

  

Solid skills in below technical areas (at least three of them)

  

• X86 server hardware, rackmount and blades.

• Windows Server Platform

• Storage & SAN

• Virtualization technology (VMWare preferred)

• MS AD and related service, such as DHCP, DNS, Filer & printing

          

Hands-on skills in below areas

  

• Monitoring tools

• Database (MS SQL preferred)

• Cloud services, providers and their products

• Basic networking knowledge (vlan, L2/L3 switching, NIC teaming)

        

Skills in any of below areas are plus

  

• DCFM (Datacenter facility management)

• *nix

• AS/400

• PLC

• Load balancer

• Application host (IIS/Java container)

• Message Queue

• Scripting (PowerShell preferred)

• Office 365, Azure AD

                  

Education & experience requirements

  

Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experiences.

  

5 - 10 years MNC working experiences. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.

  

Good English, fluent in both oral and written

  

Flexible working hours (weekends shift)

  

Travel as needed (less than 10%)

  

Microsoft certification is a plus.

  

ITIL certification is a plus.
