Role Summary

  

The Sales Support & Customer Service Advisor will be expected to support the administrative activities of the China Office and provide sales support to the Channel Sales Manager and Head of China.  Delivering exceptional levels of customer service and resolving a variety of issues for customers throughout APAC.

  

Key Responsibilities

  

  • Being the first point of contact for business and consumer customer enquiries via email and telephone

  • Handling customer service issues in a timely manner and delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction

  • General office management duties and supporting China team with day to day administration support such as travel bookings, hosting customers and external visitors, telephone handling and post/couriering

  • Supporting the Channel Sales Manager with quotation follow up/support, issuing quotations as per guidelines, providing post-order support for all sales orders and contacting new business customers

  • Identifying product and service opportunities while supporting customer requests e.g. replacement parts and web offering for non-order calls

          

  • Working with vendors, purchasing/credit departments and warehouse to resolve customer issues in an effective and timely manner

     

    Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a customer service, office administration or business assistant role supporting senior managers

  • Previous experience of working in a sales environment strongly preferred

  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English

  • Diligence and a dedicated self-starter

  • Strong attention to detail and an exceptional team-player attitude

  • Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office

  • Unflappable and the ability to diffuse stressful situations
