?? A certification by related professional organizations (such as APICS and NAPM), a bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent, or an experience in electronics manufacturing industry is a plus.
?? Minimum of 2 years of buying and materials planning experience in the manufacturing environment.
?? Strong communication and analytical skills.
?? Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.
?? Experience with the current ERP system.
?? Occasional travel may be required

9.1 Lead & administrate the purchasing staff within workcell
o Provide Manager with input on the workcell's purchasing staffing needs. Assist Manager by participating in recruiting and hiring activities. Ensure cross-training within the Workcell and a strong succession plan to accommodate changes in business needs.
o Communicate expectations of job responsibilities, objectives, and goals. Develop, motivate, and challenge employees to perform to their full potential. Frequently meet with the workcell Purchasing team, both individually and as a group.
o Ensure that workcell Purchasing staff is given proper training, tools, and resources to execute the job functions.
o Identify strength and developmental needs of the individuals and the team. Develop and/or facilitate specific training as needed.
o Provide frequent and timely feedback and performance reviews that are quantitative and qualitative based on measurable objectives, general work attributes, and skills development. Recommend salary and job status changes based on performance.
o Lead the Workcell's purchasing activities and assignments, such as quoting and price administration, materials sizing, and interaction with customers and suppliers.
o Identify successes and opportunities for continuous improvement by monitoring Workcell Purchasing performance such as data integrity, and performance metrics.
o Provide resources and expertise to the Workcell Purchasing Staff.
o Provide support and direction in problem resolution.

9.2 Support the development & implementation of supply chain strategies & systems
o Provide feedback and support development of Jabil Supply Chain initiatives and strategies.

o Ensure Workcell's execution to Jabil Supply Chain strategies.
o Support customer's business needs using standard process where possible and customized solutions where necessary. Influence customer in order to leverage jabil's Supply Chain solutions.
9.3 Ensure that material supply equal demand. Optimize overall cost of materials.

o Ensure that Purchasing takes an active role in having realistic MPS loading through materials sizing process.
o Monitor and ensure materials supply meet the MRP requirements to support production. Identify and support resolve disconnects such as shortages, non-conformance, high stock, excess / obsolete materials are continuously monitored and resolved.
o Ensure that the Workcell is focused to drive down the overall cost of materials including component pricing, freight expenses, materials liability, and cost of managing materials.
o Lead the price administration process to ensure (1) data integrity, (2) accurate Standard Costs, and (3) Quoted Costs to the Customer that are competitive and maximize the amount of favorable Materials Price Variance (MPV).
o Ensure all purchase orders are placed with pricing and terms & conditions that are negotiated and agreed to by Jabil Commodity Managers and Buyers.
9.4 In addition, purchasing supervisor may take the responsibilities of materials planning or buyer, as defined by Purchasing manager
9.5 Adhere to all company policies & procedures
9.6 EHS responsibilities are as follows
Identify and sort waste ; save electricity and fresh water & paper
To participate in fire drill and EHS training ,etc
To participate in other ISO14001 & OHSAS18001 activities .
