Position Focus: Owns the Advanced Logistics & packaging management for China and Asia plants.

Job Description:

 

? Implement logistics global strategy, proactively involve and use various logistics tools to deliver best result to organization

? Manage all aspects of the logistics cost & packaging solution from RFI level till implementation of new business award

? Work with Advanced Purchasing team using Best Known Methods to deliver the total landed costs studies to drive value and win more business

? Ability to use auto packaging system/tool for parts packaging design

? Analysis of new project’s logistics methodology and execution through plant logistics team

? Responsible for Asia new project’s advanced logistics study, provide the optimized logistics cost to commercial team for RFQ bidding

? Attend project kick-off, cost review meeting to deliver the best logistics scenario within project timeline

? Involve China and ASEAN key projects logistics & packaging solutions

? Responsible for plant packaging optimization project for cost reduction

? Participate in senior management team decision making meeting and provide direct support to commercial team as appropriate

? Regular refresh logistics and packaging quotation database

? Working with logistics purchasing, network design & packaging team to complete project with positive outcome. 

? Ensure daily work comply to established policies, rules and procedures

? Follow up task assigned by direct manager

Qualification:

? Bachelor in International Logistics Management/ Business or automotive engineering equivalent experience

? 8+ years working experience in Logistic and in Supply Chain function, 3 years in automotive industry

? Ability to work in a highly productive, constantly changing environment

? Experience as a consultant working with multiple stakeholders and customer’s advantages 

? Knowledge of automotive logistics / packaging industry expert advantages 

? Strong communication skills

? Able to build confidence & deliver results
