Responsibilities 

• Translates business plan into long term component requirements, understands planning concept and logic how the forecast is generated/calculated
• Component (strategic) management for the selected suppliers/components
• Component capacity and shortage management
• Explains the forecast deviations by delta analysis on forecast inputs
• Order execution for buy and sell components
• Defines and owns procurement methodology
• Liability and EXOB management (raw material focused)
• Material risk buy process management
• Supplier performance management
• Defines the inventory plan to ensure required service level and understands the concept inventory management (for instance consignment, VMI, JIT)
• Monthly SMOS and OB review and analysis

Requirements

5+ years experience of supply planning, especially for raw goods planning &forecast

Be familiar with common electronic components manufacturers or distributors

Acknowledge of electronic components market supply-demand trend, regularly analyze and raise supply/inventory risk

Communicate with suppliers for delivery, relationship, performance

Raw goods inventory control
