Role Summary/Purpose
Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Comprehensive in-depth understanding of purchasing and sourcing concepts and principles in the own part of the function. Strong knowledge of purchasing concepts in order to help drive supplier performance.

Essential Responsibilities
• Develop commodity strategies, achieve deflation targets, manage supply risk and manage outcomes and relationships with strategic suppliers related to the commodities of forging, small machining & fabrication, B&C class parts to Renewable Energy Business
• Work closely with respective GCL / Site Sourcing Leader to drive China Sourcing Strategy through commodity assignment
• Build comprehensive strategic supplier relationships while also developing negotiation strategies to achieve stated goals and objectives including deflation & capacity;
• Support GCL / Site Sourcing leader to execute RFQ (Request For Quotation) packages, negotiate Pricing and Supply Agreement; implement Terms & Conditions in line with sourcing strategy;
• Proactively leads spend analysis, supplier development, supplier negotiations and contract implementation to meet overall deflation and productivity objectives within the assigned commodities;
• Drive supplier selection, development, and monitoring and overall supplier management in accordance with the broad GE Renewable sourcing functions;
• Lead supply base consolidation and supplier improvement initiatives on assigned commodities, support different sites to develop Chinese local suppliers, to achieve OTD and cost target;
• Work effectively with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Site Commodity Leader on issue resolutions and cost reduction opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or relative Engineering Application Discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing or material processes, and/or Sourcing
• Previous experience in metallic products manufacturing or commodity management
• Business processes / Sourcing activities / Program management experiences
• Proven negotiations, contract development and business law knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
• Ability to work, motivate and influence in a cross-functional, multi-sites, global team environment
• Strong financial planning, analytical and critical-thinking skills
