Job purpose:

This a combined role to act as a HR Business Partner for the branch office and compensation & benefits (C&B) services and projects. Provide quality HR advice, coaching and support to all managers to ensure the business’s strategic and operational objectives are met. To oversee and manage all core Human Resource functions and activities to ensure that all external regulations and internal processes are complied with at all times. To ensure that the provision of HR services, policies and programs is aligned and is in partnership with the regional HR goals and strategy. To lead, collaborate with and support the Human Resources (HR) Community within the North China in the delivery of Compensation and Benefits (C&B) services and projects. To ensure the C&B operations and initiatives are in line with the Regional policies and guidelines.

Main responsibilities:

• Implement the HR roadmap to support delivery of key performance indicators
• Coach/advise managers on effective management of performance in liaison with specialists as required including observing all relevant labor laws
• Ensure that all HR Information systems are fully utilized and maintained
• Ensure that best practice talent sourcing methods are used to secure the right candidates
• Support the annual salary increment + bonus round under the guidance of relevant specialists.
• Implement the learning and development program in conjunction with relevant specialists that addresses employee needs in accordance with business requirements
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment practices, policies and legislation.
• Ensure performance management processes are fully implemented including SMART targets, quality performance reviews, calibration, succession panels and performance improvement measures as required up to and including disciplinary measures.
• Collaborate with the business to fully understand requirements and challenges, then propose and implement C&B strategies to deliver against agreed key performance indicators.
• Oversee the North China C&B structure and participate in competitive market research to help establish effective pay practices and systems.
• Monitor announcements of relevant labor laws and ensure the compliance of our HR policies with requirements.
• Oversee all C&B related employee activities including remuneration review, issuing of contracts, updating related systems and liaising with relevant stakeholders
• Measure and communicate the C&B solutions and services within North China
• Evaluate and administer any relevant employee benefits programs including retirement plans, insurance policies and housing benefits etc.

Requirement:

To be considered, you should have at least 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role and possess sound knowledge of C&B strategy and tools. You demonstrate the ability to translate business and HR strategies into practical solutions, and are able to engage key decision makers on HR matters. Language proficiency in both English and Mandarin is highly preferred.
