Core Operations

• Monitor liquidity position of QDLP Funds to ensure sufficient cash to meet redemption and expenses.
• Review of client instructions on subscription and redemption on QDLP Funds to ensure compliance with AML/KYC, CRS and suitability requirements.
• Placing order instructions to overseas fund manager.
• Responsible for client onboarding process and coordinate AML/KYC, FATCA / CRS and suitability requirements.
• Monitor order status on execution and confirmation.
• Monitor cash flow settlement between overseas manager, service vendor and clients.
• Review financial reports prepared by service vendor and co-ordinate audit by external auditor.
• Verify fees and arrange for settlement.
• Monitor QDLP quota.
• Perform tasks to support the Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency functions carried out by service vendor

Vendor oversight

• Oversight of service vendor day to day activities on fund accounting, transfer agency, custodian and client reporting functions.
• Monitor service level and KPIs.
• Conduct regular governance review meetings and due diligence.
• Ownership and proactive management of Vendor relationship.
• Centralized point of contact between vendor and JPMorgan internal stakeholders on queries, requests, escalation and resolution of errors and issues.
• Co-ordinate and monitor change initiatives as required by business, regulators

Risk and Control

• Ensure functional compliance with regulatory obligations and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with JPMorgan internal risk and control policy and procedures.
• Foster a strong sense of personal accountability and ownership across all control activities.
• Maintain and periodically review standard operating procedures, Develop and maintain effective controls.
• Co-ordinate review carried out by regulators, internal audit and compliance.

• 5+ years relevant financial services industry experience within an Asset Manager or Securities Services organization
• Experience of managing/leading a relevant Asset Management function, or, Securities Services function essential
• Knowledge of fund accounting, transfer agency and middle office asset servicing functions essential
• Experience of third party vendor oversight and governance essential
• Experience with developing effective and oversight control mechanisms (e.g. business management, program oversight), preferably in Investment Management business
• Ability to quickly identify and measure risk
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
• Experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Native in Mandarin)
