Job Responsibilities:

Lead the acquisition from the Manufacturing standpoint within the Acquisition team coordinating the related program work packages as defined in the Faurecia Program Management System (PMS) and insure their accomplishment

Organization
? Reports directly to Senior Acquisitions Manufacturing Leader
? Belongs to the Acquisition / Program Core Team

PMS Work Packages
? Build up the industrial scenario during the program acquisition on line with the division industrial strategy. Outputs are: the initial process concept, the preliminary industrial footprint layout, the initial equipment concept (including investment list), and the initial supply chain concept (internal & external)
? Production system development until Gate Review #1 in case of Award

People Management
? Coordinates Manufacturing outputs including PC&L's
? Coordinates with other departments: Engineering and PoC, Purchasing, Quality, existing plants, Building experts, etc.
? Defines clear objectives to his functional team and supports and helps to solve problems
? Ensures the respect of safety instructions, policies and procedures

Team work
? Ensure transparent timely communication with program manager and line manager
? Participate to the continuous improvement of the Manufacturing Engineering performance
? Ensure monthly information meeting within the UAP

Qualities and Expectations:

?Leading by example in terms of rigor and discipline
?Good organization ability, needs to manage many inputs and prepare tracking and reporting relevant methods and documents
?Very reactive and cope the pressure
?Autonomous in his (her) own task accomplishment and team spirit for sharing the progress / difficulties with the program team.
?Good knowledge in terms industrialization: Lean manufacturing, Pull systems, 5S, Supply Chain
?Good knowledge in plastic transformation industry and related processes
?Good knowledge of the automotive production and products
?Basics in finance
?Previous management experience
?High availability for very frequent traveling in China and abroad for stays up to 3 weeks
?Good ability to communicate with overseas colleagues / suppliers / customers (fluent English mandatory, German or French is a plus)

Education background and experience:

?Engineer diploma with Mechanical / Industrial / Plastic industry major
?At least 7 year successful experience in automotive industry or similar manufacturing industry (aeronautic, transportation, etc) as Manufacturing Engineering or Production or Logistic manager.
?Precedent experience in foreign company (or JV) or abroad is a plus
