Description

Set and maintain quality standards for company products through the use of systematic processes. Develops, modifies, and executes software test strategies, plans and suites. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. May develop tools and environments to automate test execution. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

Responsibilities

-Test the Smartphone Developer Website using Automated, Black Box and White Box tests

-Write and execute Automated and Manual test cases and test suites

-Write Test Plans, file defects and regress functionality

-Work closely with Development and QA

Qualifications

Education and Experience

-BSc, EE or equivalent degree

-Minimum of 2 to 3 Years as a Automation Engineer, Developer, and/or QA Engineer

Knowledge and Skills

-Good understanding of software testing practices, tools, and methodologies

-Familiar with Linux and Windows Operating Systems

-Experience with Automation and Development technologies including Java, mySQL and Perl

-Comfortable testing and implementing automated frameworks, test cases and test suites

-Experience working in a cross functional team that is well integrated with development

-Ability to pick up new technical skills and apply them immediately

-Good analytical and problem solving skills

-Ability to juggle multiple tasks

-Reasonable written and verbal communications skills
