Lead Front-End Developer - App Catalog

Position Overview:

Palm is hiring a lead developer for the front end projects related to our App Catalog and Services ecosystem. We are looking for a senior developer who has a proven track record developing and shipping highly-polished, high-volume interactive consumer software, consumer web apps, or software for consumer devices.

Qualifications

Requirements:

-3+ years experience, plus a BS in computer science or equivalent

-Real-world experience shipping high-volume consumer software/sites/devices are a must

-Strong PHP 5.x development experience

-Familiarity with PHP Zend framework and templating libraries a plus

-Solid Ajax/JavaScript development experience

-Familiarity with popular JavaScript libraries like Prototype, jQuery, YUI, etc a plus, but should also feel comfortable working without them

-Experience in Open Source software projects a plus

-Familiarity with Subversion is highly desired.
