Responsibility

• To support Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for effectively delivering a range of tasks to high quality standards.

• Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking

• Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project

• Producing project plans

• Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators

• Tracking and documenting changes

• Preparing written project communication materials

• Preparing formal project progress and other reports

• Liaising with the client, contractors and designers

• Attending meetings and drafting minutes, etc  Preparing presentation materials for client pitches, etc

• Inputting key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database

    

Requirements:

  

• Professionally qualified in one of the following fields: project management, construction, engineering, surveying, or architecture.

• 2 to 5 years relevant project management experience.

• A broad understanding of the characteristics of projects, over a significant portion of the project life cycle

• Knowledge of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques

• Experience of supporting project management commissions for small to medium sized general construction projects of low to medium complexity

• Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as the different procurement routes, etc

• Experience of managing the administrative aspects of a project
