PDE for Zhuhai

Primary Responsibility

1) Handle product transfer and new product set up for more complicated products which requires higher level of expertise
2) Assist the product engineering manager in providing technical leadership to the junior staff.
3) Mechanical design responsibility for JDM businesses includes concept generation, 3D modeling, generating 2D drawing, defining CTF/CTQ dimensions, engineering analysis (tolerance analysis, DFM and FEA) and product realization activities.
4) Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line
5) Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield
6) Participate to improvements to methodologies to maximize debug, integration and verification efficiency
7) Product Qualification and process qualification
8) Product Specification and process requirement Analysis
9) Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues
10) Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues – engineering changes, new model development
11) Apply company approved processes related to job function.
12) Work with design team to resolve design related issues
13) Participate to cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, scrap reduction 参与成本降低，如物料，库存和废料的减少。
14) Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes so as to ensure superior quality of products对工作指令，、材料或产品变更提出修改意见，保证产品质量。
15) Other related tasks assigned by the superiors and respective functions.

Secondary Responsibility

1) Guide, motivate and develop teammates to maintain a high degree of efficiency which will lead to a successful product launch.
2) Coordinate with relevant function to resolve on quality and other product engineering related matters.
3) Initiate and implement cost reduction and quality improvement activities.
4) Establish on-going training program for FMTS operation sites engineers
5) Drive continuous improvement programs
6) Main driver for recruiting technically competent engineers in the highly technical based environment

Job Requirements *
Education Qualification

1) Bachelors Degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering or related equivalent.

Knowledge & Skills

1) Proficiency on ProEngineer Wildfire, ProMechanica and ProIntralink is a must with exposure to other mainstream CAD software.
2) Ability to perform DFM (Design for manufacturability for metals, plastics, decorations, joining and secondary process) and DFA (Design for Assembly/Joining) analysis
3) Proficiency in use of MS Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) and other presentation tools.
4) Excellent and effective communication skills both verbal and written
5) Excellent presentation skills both written and oral
6) Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels and departments/units
7) Sound working knowledge on DfTooling (Design for Tooling) analysis.
8) Sound knowledge of PPAP
9) Critical thinking and good analytical skill

Experience

PDE for Qiaotou, Dongguan

Job description:
1. 处理产品的转移和新产品成立
