Job Description

- Handle full spectrum of order processing including export/ import shipping documentation.

- Ensure efficiency and shipment fulfilment.

- Assist in planning for outgoing shipment.

- Liaise with clients on shipment issues.

- Working closely with various logistics service providers.

- Co-ordinate with carriers, vendors, overseas offices and customers to ensure smooth transactions.

- Track deliveries to ensure cost effectiveness.

- Checking ocean freight rates.

- Handle billing, costings and ensure prompt invoicing to customers.

- Other adhoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

- A minimum Junior College Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business English or the equivalent.

- 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding industry.

- Good communication and people skills.

- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Knowledge of customs declaration and Tradenet.

- Knowledge of ocean export processes.

- Meticulous, ability to multi-task and able to work in fast pace environment.
