Essential Responsibilities

In this role, you will essentially provide financial support to GM – Asia logistic and operation leaders of all Asia plants. Asia logistic, a $100MM+ spending on annual based. This finance leader is the key contact person for GSC global logistic finance team. Also work closely with GSC Asia MF on key Asia GSC initiatives and expansions. • Support Asia logistic GM and plant GMs, Asia MF and global logistic finance manager to drive operating performance & act as champion for strategic initiatives within the organization, drive productivity, operational efforts on logistic spending and strategy set up. • Contributes to developing estimates, operating plans/forecasts/reviews, Growth Playbook (3-year Plan), SII (1-year Plan) • Driving profitable growth by providing analysis & recommendations of results & reporting key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities • Support operations in the development, analysis & implementation of productivity programs in addition to analyzing all variable and base costs • Support operations in the development, analysis of manufacturing variances including purchase price, material design & labor overhead variances • Ensure controllership and consistency of accounting processes across the operations, • Lead MOH standard setting, variance, utilization & capacity analysis activities • Develop and improve financial processes: Finance reporting tools, Management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes, standard Production Cost set ups and analyses, Capital Investment. • Facilitate overall Asia logistic global communication, work closely with Milwaukee teams • Support Asia MF on Asia projects, Tianjin expansion ($100MM+ investment), MR magnet project transfer • Support Asia MF on Beijing campus project and business case development • Involved on strategic decisions of Asia transfers, GSC footprint and key projects Quality: 1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of five years of financial work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and ledger closing. FMP graduates preferred. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change 2. Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideas 3. Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing 4. Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros) 5. Fluency in English 6. Confidence / Assertiveness: possess influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives 7. Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows 8. Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and process improvement 9. Experience in a matrixed environment 10. Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations 11. Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others 12. Basic understanding of financial compliance: SOX, GAAP
